Patent Registration Procedure

Preparation of Application

Filing of application

Publication

Upon satisfying the statutory requirements, the patent application is published in accordance with the Myanmar Patent Law.

Substantive Examination

Grant of Patent

If the application meets all legal requirements, the IPD grants the patent and issues the Certificate of Patent Registration.
